San Francisco attorneys Robert K. Phillips and Jessica S. Pliner represented a department store in an action alleging civil rights claims, false imprisonment and defamation the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.  The plaintiff alleged several million dollars in damages.  The firm filed a motion for summary judgment based on Plaintiff’s failure to put forth evidence in support of her claims and the Court issued an order granting the motion for summary judgment.
