Maxfield Marquardt joined Phillips Spallas & Angstadt, LLP in February 2017 where his practice focuses on premise and product liability defense. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Marquardt worked for Walmart Stores Inc. where he managed premise and product liability claims and litigation.
Mr. Marquardt received his Juris Doctorate degree and graduated with honors from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2012. In addition to his Juris Doctorate, Mr. Marquardt has a Master of Dispute Resolution from the prestigious Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution and a Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College. During law school, Mr. Marquardt served as a literary and citations editor for The Journal of the National Association of Administrative Law Judiciary (NAALJ) and was an inaugural member for the Pepperdine School of Law Investor Advocacy Clinic. He worked as an extern for the Honorable Richard M. Nieter of the Central District of California Bankruptcy Court, and for the Honorable Harry Pregerson of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Marquardt is admitted to practice in the states of Arkansas and California.
