San Francisco and Los Angeles Offices Team Up to Obtain Summary Judgment in Personal Injury Case

Attorneys Robert K. Phillips, Michael R. Halvorsen, and Federico A. Stea recently secured a summary judgment for our client in a case brought in San Francisco Superior Court. Plaintiff tripped on an irregular sidewalk adjacent to our client’s property and sustained life-altering injuries as a result of her fall. Plaintiff alleged the sidewalk was in a dangerous condition due to the client’s failure to properly maintain it. The Court agreed with the defense that the defect was “trivial” as a matter of law and that the sidewalk was not a dangerous condition.
