Michael Diamant joined Phillips, Spallas & Angstadt LLP as an associate in our Los Angeles office in April 2024. He represents individuals and entities over a broad range of civil litigation disputes including landlord‐tenant, personal injury, real property, and other matters.
Mr. Diamant received his Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Political Science from Davidson College in 2013. He graduated from the University of Southern California’s Gould School of Law in 2016 with a Juris Doctor degree. While in Law School, Mr. Diamant was a member of the Hale Moot Court Honors Program, treasurer of the Intellectual Property & Technology Law Society, and Alumni Chair of the Jewish Law Student Association.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Diamant was an associate at a transactional entertainment law firm specializing in negotiations and contract drafting. Prior to that, he worked at a premier talent agency in Los Angeles. At all stages of his career, Mr. Diamant has specialized in advocacy and has honed his skills fighting for the interests of his clients in many different facets and capacities.
Mr. Diamant is admitted to practice law in all California state courts and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
When Mr. Diamant is not spiritedly advocating for his clients, he is spending time with his wife and two cats. Mr. Diamant loves to cook and bake and is an outspoken supporter of his hometown Lakers. He is also an avid fan of fantasy, spending much of his free time crafting and writing for his multiple Dungeons & Dragons campaigns.
