Christopher E. Barnes joined Phillips, Spallas & Angstadt LLP as an associate in our Los Angeles office in July 2021. He represents individuals and entities over a broad range of civil litigation disputes including landlord‐tenant, personal injury, real property, and other matters.
Mr. Barnes received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from UC Berkeley before graduating from Mercer University School of Law where he discovered an interest in advocacy and litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Barnes represented clients in personal injury, entertainment, and family law matters.
Mr. Barnes is admitted to practice law in all California state courts and is also licensed as a California real estate salesperson.
When Mr. Barnes is not vociferously representing his clients, he enjoys reading and working out. His hobbies include spending time at the beach and watching films.
