Federico A. Stea is an associate in our Los Angeles office. He represents individuals and entities in a broad range of civil litigation disputes, including real property, personal injury, and construction defect matters. Mr. Stea earned his J.D. from Italy’s prestigious University of Pavia. During his studies in Italy, Mr. Stea specialized in international commercial law, and represented the University of Pavia at the XXI Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, arguing before international arbitration panels in New York, Milan, and Vienna.
Mr. Stea continued his legal studies at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where he earned a Master of Laws (LLM), with a specialization in civil litigation and trial advocacy. While at Loyola, Mr. Stea worked as a research assistant to Professor Hiro Aragaki, focusing on federal and international arbitration law. Mr. Stea also served as a board member for the Business Law Society and the Student Advisory Board.
Prior to joining Phillips Spallas & Angstadt, Mr. Stea represented individuals and Fortune 500 corporations in products liability, mass tort, and personal injury, cases.
