Jim Mikhail is an associate attorney in the Los Angeles office of Phillips, Spallas & Angstadt LLP. She represents individuals and entities in a range of civil litigation disputes, including personal injury, real property, landlord‐tenant, and other matters.

Mr. Mikhail earned his Juris Doctorate from Western State College of Law, where he served in the Immigration Clinic Program. He successfully won two asylum trials while in the program. Prior to law school, Mr. Mikhail received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from California State University, Long Beach.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Mikhail worked in insurance defense handling cases up to trial. Prior to that he worked as a staff attorney at a non‐profit organization where he litigated unlawful detainer cases in a high‐volume, fast‐paced environment.

Mr. Mikhail is fluent in Arabic and is a native of Los Angeles. In his free time, he enjoys watching the Los Angeles Clippers, exploring new places, and being
active.
