NFL Player’s New Nonprofit Corporation Gives Back

San Francisco attorneys, Caron Stapleton and Candice Mullings Williams, recently formed a nonprofit corporation on behalf of a prominent NFL football player who wanted a vehicle for giving back to his community. They guided this nonprofit through all of the stages of formation, as well as applying to the Internal Revenue Service and California Franchise Tax Board for tax exempt status as a charitable organization.The firm performed much of its legal work on this matter pro bono, and Ms. Mullings is presently serving on the nonprofit organization’s board of directors.
