Brian P. McGinley is an associate in the firm’s San Francisco office where his work is focused in the areas of personal injury, landlord/tenant, and premises liability. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. McGinley worked as a construction law/construction defect attorney in Granite Bay, California, representing both contractors and property owners in construction‐related disputes. He then practiced construction defect insurance defense, primarily representing general contractors in complex construction defect disputes arising out of commercial and residential development projects, as well as general civil litigation defense in Walnut Creek, California.

Mr. McGinley graduated from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science degree  in Business Administration with a Finance Concentration. After college, he spent several years working as a financial analyst in the healthcare industry before graduating from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California. While attending law school, Mr. McGinley interned at the California Senior Legal Hotline and worked as a certified law student at the McGeorge Elder Law Clinic, assisting senior citizens with a wide variety of legal issues and disputes. Mr. McGinley is admitted to practice law in both California and Washington state.

Mr. McGinley was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Outside of work, he enjoys baseball, books, the great outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
