Carlos A. Ortiz is an associate attorney in our Los Angeles office, and his focus is landlord-tenant and premises liability matters. Prior to joining our firm, Mr. Ortiz was a military officer in the United States Marine Corps serving as a Judge Advocate or Military Lawyer, where he represented clients and units in a broad range of military law, criminal law, and civil law matters.

Mr. Ortiz received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from The University of Arizona. He then earned his Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island. During law school, Mr. Ortiz was a member of the Criminal Law Society and served as a student attorney representing indigent defendants in criminal and civil matters before the Rhode Island District Court and Traffic Tribunal.

Mr. Ortiz enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and is also an avid fan of his hometown Dodgers and Arizona Wildcats.
