Koichi R. Aton is an associate attorney in our Las Vegas office. Mr. Aton’s civil litigation practice includes representing individuals and businesses in motor vehicle liability, premises liability, and products liability matters.

Mr. Aton obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Mr. Aton then earned his Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

During his time at the William S. Boyd School of Law, he served as a staff editor for the UNLV Gaming Law Journal, where his student note was published, volunteered for the federal court pro bono program, and participated in mock trial and moot court competitions.

Prior to joining Phillips, Spallas & Angstadt LLP, Mr. Aton worked as an associate attorney at a general civil litigation law firm in Las Vegas, where he handled a diverse caseload including personal injury, business disputes, contract matters, real estate litigation, family law, and probate matters.

Outside work Mr. Aton enjoys NFL football, Formula 1 and NASCAR racing, and running outdoors.
