Maryan L. Lowery is an associate attorney in our Los Angeles Office. Ms. Lowery has extensive experience in insurance defense litigation, with a focus on personal injury cases and complex premises liability claims, including cases involving slip‐and‐fall incidents and commercial liability issues.

Ms. Lowery gained trial experience as a Post Bar Certified Law Clerk at the San Diego Public Defender’s Office, where she notably served as second chair. Additionally, she served as a Judicial Law Clerk at the U.S. District Court in San Diego, working as a clerk for Honorable Federal Judge John Houston, where she excelled in release motions, showcasing strong legal writing skills.

Ms. Lowery obtained her Juris Doctorate from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, completing the program a year early and graduating cum laude. In law school, Ms. Lowery held several leadership roles, including President of Alternative Dispute Resolution Honor’s Society (ADR), Vice President of Criminal Law Society, Vice President of CLIMB Mentorship Program. While carrying these leadership roles, Ms. Lowery also actively participated in Mock Trial and ADR competition teams, achieving commendable rankings.

Ms. Lowery enjoys cooking, spending time with family, and being active to stay fit. She also runs a mentorship program, Legal Barbie, to encourage and support young women in the legal industry.
