Max J. Neiman is an associate based in the firm’s San Francisco office. His practice currently focuses on defending individuals and entities in matters pertaining to premises liability, automobile collisions, products liability, wrongful death, landlord‐tenant, personal injury defense, and general liability defense. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Neiman represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of civil disputes ranging from mass torts to motor vehicle accidents. Notably, he was involved in all phases of the mass tort claims resolution process stemming from the 2017 and 2018 PG&E wildfires; including client acquisition, claim management, and claim resolution.

Mr. Neiman began his career as a legal assistant at Phillips Spallas & Angstadt LLP prior to attending law school and is excited to have rejoined the PSA family. Mr. Neiman went on to earn his J.D. from the  University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings College of the Law), where he received a CALI Award in Real Estate Transactions; was a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team and Mediation Clinic; and served as senior production editor for the Hastings Business Law Journal. Mr. Neiman received his B.A. in Political Science from San Francisco State University.

Mr. Neiman started laying the groundwork for his legal career as an undergraduate by serving as a judicial extern for the Hon. Teri L. Jackson in San Francisco Superior Court.

In his free time, Mr. Neiman enjoys cooking and exploring the Bay Area’s thriving culinary scene, spending time with his family, and supporting his favorite sports teams (Go Niners!).
