Michelle Long is an associate in the firm’s San Francisco office. Her legal experience includes representing individuals in a broad range of civil litigation disputes, including personal injury, premises liability, and employment law claims. Prior to joining Phillips, Spallas & Angstadt LLP, Ms. Long was an associate at a boutique San Francisco firm focused on civil litigation. Ms. Long also gained experience in the public sector with the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office and the Western Regional Office of the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board.

Ms. Long received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida, where she achieved Cum Laude Honors in Criminology. Ms. Long earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings College of the Law).  While attending law school, Ms. Long was a senior staff editor of the Hastings Business Law Journal,  a co-coordinator of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program and inducted into the Pro Bono Society. While a student clinician, Ms. Long represented low-income hourly workers before the California Labor Commissioner across the Bay area.

Ms. Long grew up in Florida and enjoys cuisine, travel, and live music.
