San Francisco Attorney George M. Morris presents on Dog Bite Law in CA

We are proud to continue our Senior Associates Presents Series.  We want to thank George M. Morris for his recent presentation, giving an overview of Dog Bite Law in California. In our latest offering in our Senior Associate Presents Series, George provided insight into the history of the law surrounding dog bites and owner liability under homeowners insurance, potential immunities and traps for the unwary, and the application of strict liability theories and negligence in multiple, engaging fact patterns.  He also discussed the potential experts to consider in raising an effective defense, common factors to consider in evaluating damages in dog-related injuries, and potential defenses.  George provided a plethora of relevant case law, with practical guidance on where to obtain records and research local ordinances, which our attorneys found helpful in handling currently active cases at our firm.
