Margaret (Maggie) E. McCarthy is an associate attorney in the firm’s San Francisco office. Her practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation, with experience in premises liability, personal injury, and products liability matters.
Ms. McCarthy earned her Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law. During law school, she worked as a legal assistant for a solo practitioner in San Francisco, assisting with landlord-tenant disputes and trusts and estates matters. She also served as a teaching assistant for Civil Procedure and Evidence and tutored first- and second-year law students in Civil Procedure.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. McCarthy received a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, with an emphasis in Criminology and a minor in Psychology, from Seattle University. While at Seattle University, she was a member and captain of the Division I Women’s Basketball team.
Ms. McCarthy is admitted to practice in California, the District of Columbia, and Pennsylvania.
