Darren J. Chetcuti is an associate attorney based in the firm’s San Francisco office. His practice currently focuses on defending individuals and entities in a broad range of disputes, including personal injury, landlord-tenant, and homeowner’s association matters. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Chetcuti gained experience in the public sector with the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office, Santa Clara District Attorney’s Office, San Mateo District Attorney’s Office, and the United States Attorney’s Office.
Mr. Chetcuti earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco, School of Law, and received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Oregon where he majored in Business Administration with an emphasis in Sports Management. During law school, Mr. Chetcuti was a participant in the Intensive Advocacy Program and a student clinician in the Racial Justice Clinic.
While a student clinician, Darren helped with the exoneration of Leon Benson, an individual wrongfully convicted for 25 years. Darren is featured on Season 3, Episode 6 of Wondery’s “Suspect: Five Shots in the Dark” as a result of his involvement in that matter.
When Mr. Chetcuti is not representing his clients, he is spending time with his family, and friends. Mr. Chetcuti is an avid sports fan. He is a long-time supporter of Liverpool football club and the Denver Broncos. His hobbies include finding new places to eat, working out, hiking, reading, watching movies, and traveling.
