Jacob (Jake) Colvin is an associate in the San Francisco office of Phillips, Spallas & Angstadt LLP. He represents individuals and entities in a broad range of disputes, including personal injury, premises liability, construction defect, and landlord‐tenant. Prior to joining our firm, he worked at Gordon Rees where his practice focused on construction defect litigation, representing architects and engineers, subcontractors, general contractors, and owners/developers.
During law school, Jake clerked for the San Francisco District Attorney and for Chief Magistrate Judge Hon. Maria‐Elana Jame. He also served as a teaching advisor to Professor Helen Chang and Wes Porter. As an undergraduate, Jake interned for the late Senator Dianne Feinstein and with the I.R.S. Chief Counsel.
In his free time, Jake enjoys hiking with his family in the Marin headlands and rooting for the 49ers and Giants.
