Laura Wondratschek is an associate in our San Francisco office. She is a passionate litigator, focusing in the practice areas of commercial litigation, premises liability, and products liability, among others. Prior to joining Phillips, Spallas & Angstadt, Ms. Wondratschek worked as a Deputy District Attorney with the Solano County DA’s office where she handled numerous jury trials.


Ms. Wondratschek received her law degree in Germany from the Friedrich‐Schiller University of Jena, where she served as elected Law Student Representative. While attending law school in Germany, Ms. Wondratschek was a Member of the International Meeting Place “Int.Ro” where she supported international students, promoted global gathering and generated impactful solutions. Ms. Wondratschek was selected (for Thuringia) to participate in the Educational Program for Students in the German Parliament (Bundestag), where only one student could be selected for each state. During the one year program, she participated in numerous conferences and gatherings with other members of the “Bundestag” where she gained unique experiences, knowledge and insight inside the German Parliament on the federal and state level. During law school, Ms. Wondratschek was awarded a full time scholarship by the Scholarship Department of the Rosa‐Luxemburg Foundation for being highly qualified and showing high levels of social engagement.


After moving to the United States, Ms. Wondratschek received her Master of Laws degree from UC Law SF (formerly UC Hastings) where she was awarded The Virginia Leary Merit Scholarship for her academic achievements. Ms. Wondratschek specialized in “International Business and Trade.”


Ms. Wondratschek grew up in the country of Georgia, and is fluent in Georgian, German, and English and proficient in Russian. Outside of her work, she spends quality time with her family, and loves nature, gardening, yoga and meditation. Her hobbies include reading non‐fiction books, dancing, writing, and baking.
