Patrick Joseph (PJ) Masterson is an associate in the San Francisco office of Phillips, Spallas & Angstadt LLP. He represents individuals and entities in a broad range of disputes, including personal injury, premises liability, construction defect, and landlord‐tenant.

Mr. Masterson received a high school diploma from Saint Ignatius College Preparatory; a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of California, San Diego; and a Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University School of Law. During law school, Mr. Masterson clerked at an insurance defense law firm, the Office of the California Attorney General, and believes he still holds the record for most preliminary hearings argued by a law clerk at the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Masterson worked at a healthcare software startup and as a civil defense litigator at a major insurance company.

Mr. Masterson’s parents immigrated to America, and he was raised in the Irish Community of San Francisco. In his free time, he enjoys learning and new experiences.
